We will be welcoming schools, community groups and private group visits here at the Gloucester Railway Carriage and Wagon Museum once premises have been acquired. Our volunteers love to tell our story including local history, rolling stock, current operations and more.
In addition to Public Days visits can be arranged for any day of the year, subject to volunteer availability.
The areas covered by these visits and mentioned in our various brochures can be tailored to meet your individual requirements and needs.
The Museum supports a STEM and STEAM Educational programme based on principles for Key Stage 2 and 3 for local schools and groups of between 10 to 30 students.
Below you will be able to find our Education Brochure and downloadable Activity Packs once it has been approved by the Board of Trustees.
If you would like to request a visit, please contact us via email grcwm@outlook.com to discuss your requirements. You will receive a response within 7 days.
Please ensure that you have read our Terms and Conditions for Museum Visitors before submitting your request.
Please Note: We are currently a portable mobile travelling museum and we are therefore currently unable to provide events at our site(s) but we would be able to arrange visits to your school or educational facility until premises have been acquired.
