Gloucester Railway Carriage and Wagon Volunteer Opportunities
Make new friends, learn new skills. Gloucester Railway Carriage and Wagon Museum is ran entirely by working members who are all volunteers and members of the museum. If you find yourself with some spare time on your hands, why not consider joining our friendly team? With hours to suit, as little or as much time as you would like to give, can make a real difference. With opportunities to work in different departments; operations - Carriage and Wagon restoration, Carriage and Wagon construction, museum, shops, maintenance and repair, model railway, events and so much more. Previous experience is not necessary as full training will be provided, we are always looking to welcome new volunteers to the team.
For the first time you can complete our Volunteer Application Form online here.
Under 21? Then why not join out Junior Team, not only will they be involved in Operations and Permanent Way work, they will also organise a number of events throughout the year such as Easter, Halloween and their very own Young Members Day. With their modern approach they will keep in touch and up to date with their very own Facebook Young Members page. Whatever your skill or experience, working, retired or studying, there will always be something for you at the Gloucester Railway Carriage and Wagon Museum.
